Teen Beginning Ballroom
Mon - Thurs (8/11-8/14) | 9:30 am to 11 am | $55

For students who are:

Entering grades 6 to 12.

Just beginning in ballroom dance or have two years or less experience.

Each day we will focus on a different dance chosen from Latin or Ballroom styles, such as Cha Cha, Waltz, Jive, or Samba. We'll introduce partnering and learn the basics of ballroom technique.
Teen Competition Prep
Mon - Thurs (8/11-8/14) | 9:30 am to 11 am | $55

For students who:

Are entering grades 6 to 12.

Have completed at least one syllabus class at OBD (Intro to Ballroom or higher) or similar experience.

Would like to try or continue competitive ballroom dancing and/or compete at local competitions.

Each day we will learn, review, or practice a syllabus competition routine in preparation for local competitions this Fall. Attending with a partner is encouraged, but not required.
Kids Beginning Ballroom
Tues - Thurs (8/12-8/14) | 11:15 am to 12:15 pm | $30

Entering grades 2 to 5 (younger allowed if a current OBD student).

Just beginning in ballroom dance or have less than 2 years of experience.

Each day we will focus on a different dance chosen from Latin, Ballroom, or social dance styles, and learn the basics of ballroom technique while playing games & making new friends!
August 18 - 21
Team Experience!

Entering grades 6 to 12.

Interested in joining a performance team and want to see what it's like, or new / continuing team members who plan to be on a 2025-26 team.

Any experience level, including beginners!

This workshop will show students what it’s like to be on a ballroom dance team, as we learn fun sections of show choreography chosen from a variety of Latin, ballroom, or social dance styles. Great preparation for those interested in joining one of our performance teams for the 2025-26 season!
Silver Team Choreography Boot Camp
Mon - Thurs (8/18-8/21) | 9:00 am to 11:00 am | $75

Required workshop for students who are placed on our Silver Performance Team for 2025-26 season.​
During this week, we will work hard to learn choreography & formations from both previous performance pieces and/or upcoming 2025-26 pieces for possible use at local competitions in the Fall or Winter.
Teen Social Dance
Mon - Thurs (8/18-8/21) | 10:45 am to 12:15 pm | $55

Entering grades 6 to 12.

Any experience level, including beginners!

Each day we will focus on a different dance chosen from popular social dance styles, such as Salsa, Hustle, Country Swing, and Foxtrot. Students will differentiate music styles and learn how to lead & follow a variety of steps & movements.
Kids Intermediate Ballroom
Tues - Thurs (8/19-8/21) | 11:15 am to 12:15 pm | $30

For students who:

Are entering grades 2 to 5.

Have at least two years of dance experience (ballroom or otherwise).

Can move at a faster pace and/or are ready for intermediate level content.

Each day we will focus on a different dance chosen from Latin, Ballroom, or social dance styles and expand our knowledge with new steps, stylizations, and partnering. This class is perfect for older children with some dance experience, or younger children who are able to move at a faster pace.
