Introduction to Ballroom Dancing

Fall 2025 to Spring 2026

*NEW THIS SEASON*

Our Introduction to Ballroom programs will be restructuring to TWO SEMESTER sessions instead of one year-round class. Register for one, or both!

semester one:

  • September 15-16 to January 12-13.

  • Includes optional competition experience at Pacific Ballroom DanceSport Challenge in Auburn on Jan 17!

    • Additional costs apply for those who participate in the competition, such as entry & admission fees.​

  • Tuition is charged monthly Sept - Dec​, or can be paid in full for 5% discount.

semester two:

  • January 26-27 to June 1-2.

  • Includes class performance at either the Lacey Spring Fun Fair in May OR our studio showcase in June!

    • Costume fee will apply for those who participate in the performances, not to exceed $25 per student.

  • Tuition is charged monthly Feb - May​, or can be paid in full for 5% discount.

​These fun classes are the perfect entry into the world of ballroom dance! Students will learn steps & technique from a variety of Ballroom, Latin, and social dance styles (such as Cha Cha, Waltz, Swing, or Salsa!). Throughout both semesters, students will learn about all aspects of ballroom dance, from recreation to competition to performance.​​

Our Mini class is for our youngest dancers in grades K to 2! 50 minutes of fun as we learn movement principles, basic ballroom steps & partnering, play games, and more! Start building those strong foundations! 

 

Teen, Kids, and Mini classes will all have the (optional) opportunities to compete at Pacific Ballroom DanceSport Challenge in January (semester one), or perform with their class at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair in May OR our studio showcase in June (semester two)!

 

Come have a great time making new friends and learning some fun and easy dance steps & routines! Students are welcome to join anytime during the year or session, provided there is space available in the class.

TEEN PROGRAM:

  • For grades 6 to 12

  • Mondays at 5:10 - 6:10 pm​​

  • Tuition: $65 per month (4 months in each semester)​

KIDS PROGRAM:

  • For grades 3 to 5

  • Or younger students with previous dance experience (instructor approval required)

  • Tuesdays at 5:30 - 6:30 pm​​

  • Tuition: $65 per month (4 months in each semester)

  • Tuesdays at 4:30 - 5:20 pm​​

  • Tuition: $60 per month (4 months in each semester)​
