Introduction to Ballroom
For kids & teens, grades 2 to 12

These fun classes are the perfect entry into the world of ballroom dance! Students will learn steps & technique from a variety of Ballroom, Latin, and social dance styles (such as Cha Cha, Waltz, Swing, or Salsa!). Throughout the season, students will learn about all aspects of ballroom dance, from recreation to competition to performance.​​ Students will have the (optional) opportunities to compete at Pacific Ballroom DanceSport Challenge in January, or perform with their class at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair in May and/or our studio showcase in June! Come have a great time making new friends and learning some fun and easy dance steps & routines! Students are welcome to join anytime during the year or session, provided there is space available in the class.

8 Week Spring Kids Class for ages 7-11!
Thursdays at 5 - 6 pm
March 19 - May 14 (no class on April 9 for Spring Break)
Tuition: $120 for the full 8-week session
Come join us on Thursdays starting March 19 for 60 minutes of fun as we introduce elementary aged kids to the world of ballroom dance! Learn movement principles, basic ballroom steps & partnering, and work together on a short show routine!
Students will have the fantastic opportunity to perform what they learn with their class at the Lacey Spring Fun Fair on May 16 at the Marcus Pavilion at Saint Martin's! Friends and family can come watch the FREE show and then have some fun at the fair!
Classes are held at the South Bay Grange (3918 Sleater Kinney Rd NE, Olympia) and taught by our instructor Carolyn Cornwall.​
